Grace Veronica
Soul Care Provider
Hey there! I’m Grace, a pastoral and spiritual care practitioner who believes that those who care for others need care, too. I create space for you to slow down, breathe, be honest, and notice God’s presence in the midst of whatever season you’re walking through. I hold a Master of Arts in Pastoral and Spiritual Care from Asbury Theological Seminary and have nearly two decades of experience in pastoral, missional, and spiritual formation leadership. I’m also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, helping couples strengthen their relationships and marriages.
I’ve had the privilege of caring for people through ministry and mission in Kenya, India, the Philippines, and the United States. I’ve preached, led teams, trained leaders, and walked alongside people through seasons of joy, grief, transition, and uncertainty. But somewhere along the way, I began to notice a pattern: the people who spend their lives caring for others are often the ones who have the fewest places to be cared for themselves.
I know what that feels like. I’ve had seasons when I needed a place where I didn’t have to be the leader, the strong one, or the person with the answers. I needed somewhere I could slow down, be honest, rest, listen, and simply be with God. Finding those spaces of care for myself changed the way I understand ministry and the way I care for others. It taught me that the work of caring for people can be deeply meaningful and deeply demanding. If we aren’t attentive to our souls, we can find ourselves weary, disconnected, isolated, or wondering where God is in the midst of it all.
That is part of why I do this work. I want to create a space where you can exhale. A space where you don’t have to perform, have everything figured out, or carry your story alone. Together, we can slow down and pay attention to what is happening within you: your questions, your hopes, your weariness, your desires, and your relationship with God. My approach to spiritual care is deeply personal and shaped around where you are. Sometimes we may begin with silence or prayer. We may sit with Scripture through Lectio Divina or simply create room to notice what God may be bringing to the surface. Sometimes we’ll talk about something very specific that is happening in your life. Other times, we may explore deeper questions about your relationship with God, yourself, and others. There is no script. My hope is that, over time, this becomes a trusted space where you can bring your whole and honest self.
More than anything, I believe we were never meant to care for others without being cared for ourselves. I believe the soul is a deep source of our strength, and that paying attention to our souls is not a luxury; it is part of becoming whole. My hope is that, in this space, you might experience a little more peace, find yourself more grounded, rediscover hope, and begin to notice God’s presence and work in your life again.
[Spiritual care is not a substitute for therapy or other forms of mental and emotional care. I believe spiritual care and mental health care can be companions on the same journey toward wholeness.]
