Somatics for Spoonies
Join Certified Somatic Trauma Therapist Lindsey Horvatich for this live, online gathering on the second Thursday of each month for gentle movement, intentional breath work, and invitations to connect with other adults who live with chronic illness and/or disabilities.
We will learn how to listen to the ways in which our bodies communicate with us and how to respond to those needs in curious, compassionate ways. Closed captions will be offered. Camera presence is optional.
This workshop will be led by Lindsey Coates Horvatich, LMHC, QCS who also happens to be chronically ill and neurodivergent, which she didn’t find out until her late 30’s. In learning to help others navigate a deeply ableist world, Lindsey has created a map for anyone who is ready to drop the masks and live life more freely and weirdly.

Dear White Therapist
Book Club
Dear White Therapist is now a bi-monthly book club gathering open to all white bodied mental health care providers, professionals, workers, and healers who want to learn how to decolonize our practices while supporting and encouraging each other.
White providers have dominated the mental health care industry for too long and we have been complicit in the harm created by the systems that exploit and oppress vulnerable people and communities. If we want to build a better world, we need to learn to be part of the solution not contributors to, or beneficiaries of, the problem. No one is asking us to apologize for being white. This moment begging us to acknowledge our privilege and use it to create sustainable change and equitable access for all in healing spaces and healthcare policy moving forward.
We will meet every other month, online and in person, to read and discuss a book written by a BIPOC, queer, disabled, and/or neurodivergent therapist, educator, or healer. In order to redistribute resources, we will source materials from independent book sellers and return as much to the community as possible.
Open to all white bodied health care providers and workers
Starts Tuesday, July 14, 2026
