Introduction

Andrea Gutierrez-Glik is a licensed clinician based in St. Louis, Missouri. She describes herself as someone who is committed to anti-racism, and anti-oppression in all forms but especially in the field of trauma care and mental health care. In her first book, Andrea outlines the necessity for liberation based approaches to healing, as well as practical exercises and tangible resources for other therapists who are committed to removing systemic barriers that keep people from accessing care.
