A weekend of rest for healers
In ancient cultures, hospitality was an expectation, not a suggestion. Hosts invited their guests into a haven of deep rest as an expression of respect and honor. At Recipio, we invite you - our fellow healers - to receive.
Recipio is a three night, four day period of intentional rest for therapists, counselors, and healers in Florida. We invite our peers to spend some time in nature, free of agenda or distraction, to engage in solo and collective rest without the need to produce or perform.
We are currently raising funds to provide this gift to therapists free of charge. For our inaugural event, we need to raise $12,000 to care for 15 healers. We will start accepting applications for participants on September 1, 2025. Please come back if you would like to attend Recipio. Mental health therapists, social workers, crisis counselors, and marriage and family therapists are welcome to apply. Participants will be selected to foster inclusivity and intentional group dynamics. Application is not a guarantee of participation, and we hope to provide this care to as many people as possible.
