Are you easily overwhelmed in environments you can’t control? Have you been told you are “highly sensitive” or have “sensory stimulating behavior”?
Join Lindsey for our new Sensory Mapping Workshop! This new offering is designed for adults who struggle to self soothe in spaces that are not accessible or accommodating to diverse sensory needs.
We will identify sensory preferences and avoidances to help us name our needs and build actionable plans to self soothe when we are in environments that are overwhelming, overstimulating, and/or not designed with accessibility in mind. Closed captions will be offered. Camera presence is optional.
This workshop will be led by Lindsey Coates Horvatich, LMHC, QCS who also happens to be chronically ill and neurodivergent, which she didn’t find out until her late 30’s. In learning to help others navigate a deeply ableist world, Lindsey has created a map for anyone who is ready to drop the masks and live life more freely and weirdly.
